#MamaSummerBucketList

As I was compiling our family summer bucket list over the weekend, I kept thinking of a few things here and there that I’d like to do or that I’d like to get done myself.  And I thought, “you know what?  We are going to have an awesome summer with all these fun things to do together as a family.  But mama has some things to do too! I think I need my own summer bucket list!”  And with that, the #MamaSummerBucketList was[Read more]

#LutonSummerBucketList2018

Hello Friends!  IT’S SUMMMMMMMERRRRRR!!  Anyone else as excited as I am that you don’t have to struggle through morning routines for the next 2 months??!  I can drink my coffee quietly at my computer while my kiddos watch tv.  And they can even make their own breakfast now!  BEST. 10 Swimsuits + Coverups

So, swimsuit season is here.  And *confession time,* as much as I love the beach and love the pool, I am not excited about trying on swimsuits this year.  I didn’t get any new suits last year since we went to Disney World instead of the beach, so I already know I need a few new ones this year, and am really dreading it!  But at least there are FAR more one piece and tankini options than ever before, and[Read more]

Memorial Day Weekend Recap + Weekly Meal Plan

Happy Tuesday to you!  I hope you have had a wonderful holiday  weekend.  We had some crazy thunder Sunday morning (I even asked Scott if he thought one strike might have been a bomb!), and a great afternoon shower yesterday, but otherwise it’s been mild and warm and wonderful.  We had a wonderful start to our summer if you’d like to know the details! We started out the weekend right with school getting out, and then having our third annual[Read more]

The Happiest of Fridays- Last Day of School!!

HAPPY FRIDAY, friends!  And the HAPPIEST Friday to us since today is our last day of school!!!  And I say our last day because I feel like I have labored right alongside the kids, haha!  They may have been doing the hard stuff, but I’ve been making the lunches, picking up and dropping off (not ONE tardy this year!!  That is nothing short of a MIRACLE on my end, haha!), sending in the money, remembering the permission slips, etc., so I am celebrating[Read more]

Key Lime Pie Pops

Once the weather starts to get warmer, one of our favorite things to do is eat popsicles out on the front porch after dinner.  Now, don’t get me wrong, a good ole Bomb Pop or classic cherry-grape-orange twin pops definitely do the trick, and we get those at the store sometimes too, but why even pay the $3 when you can so easily make your own popsicles with stuff you already have in your fridge and pantry?! When I saw this recipe[Read more]
