Happy Friday, friends! AND HAPPY FALL BREAK to my local friends!! We have been SO READY for a nice break from school, and I swear, I feel like we just barely made it! We have been working so hard, worn out, and just ready to not have a tight schedule to keep for the next week, at least! And I thought that I hadn’t done a 5 on Friday link up in a lonnnnnnnng time, and decided to drop a[Read more]
We have had a wonderful past week of Thanksgiving celebration- with both sides of family and now finally at home, just the five of us. Here are some snapshots of the past few days giving thanks for the blessings in our life: We started out in Tybee Island, Georgia, for a few days spent with my family! My brother, his wife, and my niece, Sally Kate were there too, so the kids were able to get some fun cousin time[Read more]
After a fun holiday weekend, we are saying hello to a brand new week (and month!)! Hello November! WOW…seriously cannot believe that we are in NOVEMBER already!! Pretty pumped about a month filled to the brim with football, family, fun, and my husband’s favorite holiday, Thanksgiving! But I do have to say that we finished October off with a bang! Whew! TGIF, y’all! We are harvest festival-ed and trunk or treated out after yesterday, but ready to do it all over again tomorrow on Halloween! The kids are so excited and I am pumped to pick all the delicious chocolate out of their bags after they go to bed, hahaha! I’ll share more about our Halloween activities next week, but for now, be safe and have a wonderful and Happy Halloween!

So first of all, I am a huge idiot. After we drop Brantley off around 8:15 each morning, we have about an hour to spare before we drop Gracie (and Ben on Tuesdays and Thursdays) at preschool. So this morning, we hit the Starbucks before heading to preschool. The line was forever long since #1, it was raining and it’s always busier when it’s raining, and #2 the Pumpkin Spice Latte has declared that fall has begun and is available to order[Read more]
Hi friends! It’s September now, so as far as I’m concerned (despite our typical 80 degree Georgia days), it’s FALL! For the past two years or so, I have been creating a must-have shopping list (more like wish-list, lol!) for each season, of the clothes and accessories that I would most like to add to my wardrobe. I love (love, love, love, love, love!) shopping, but if I don’t have a list of things I’m looking for, and things I[Read more]
