November Favorites

CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT IT IS DECEMBER 1ST???!!!  Christmas is practically tomorrow, and November is gone!  We had a fun and busy month, and it just flew by.  Here are a few of my favorites from November… Volunteering for Veterans- We spent two wonderful days this month serving veterans and their families.  Scott and I were both so proud of the kids and their enthusiasm and hard work that they put into volunteering.  It was wonderful time spent as[Read more]

October Favorites

I’m a few days (whoa, 10 days!) late with this, but I’m sharing my October Favorites today!  We had a very full month, did a lot of fun things, and here are 6 of the highlights (and YES, a blanket is one of the highlights, haha!): Clemson Game- Though it poured, and we had to leave in the first quarter, our first Clemson game with all five of us was certainly memorable!  It was a really fun day, and the rain[Read more]

Fall Family Pictures 2017

One of my favorite times of the year (and Scott’s LEAST favorite, ha) is when we get our annual family pictures taken!  Since Grayson was a baby, we’ve had our family pictures made in the fall of each year, just in time for Christmas and we had ours done this year by the lovely and talented Laura Roush of Laura Roush Photography. I was actually lucky enough to WIN a free session with her!  Earlier this year, she hosted a[Read more]

Halloween Through the Years

Hi Friends!  I hope you had a super fun and not-so-scary Halloween yesterday!  We had our traditional Halloween pizza dinner (I never wanted to eat dinner before going out when I was little, so I make it as easy as possible and something the kids want to eat for our kids!), then started Trick or Treating just a smidge later than years past, since the kids are a bit older (we weren’t done by sun-down like before, ha!).  We made[Read more]

Happy Halloween! Weekend Recap + Weekly Meal Plan

Hello Friends and Happy Halloween!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend, a good start to your week, and are excited about Trick or Treating tonight!  The kids are THRILLED, of course, and I am looking forward to walking around the neighborhood in the chilly fall air, with my drink in hand, and stealing the kids’ good candy!   The #candytax is real, y’all! I am a bit behind (what’s new) in sharing our goings-on, but wanted to share our weekend and everything[Read more]

Lutons Lately

I have been so busy that I feel like I haven’t shared much about what we’ve been doing lately!  So here’s what we’ve been up to: We took the big girl out to lunch all by herself last week.  We took her to her favorite place (Chili’s- not our favorite though, haha) and got to have a little one on one (actually two on one, I guess) time with our oldest!  Doesn’t happen often! *** I have been thinking about adjusting my[Read more]

September Favorites

It must’ve been the vacation right in the middle of the month, but WHOAAAAAAA September was here and now it is gone!!  Just like that!  It totally blows. my. mind. that October is two days away!  What??!!  And in honor of a super fun month, I’m highlighting a few of my September favorites today! Labor Day Weekend Recap + Weekly Meal Plan

Hello Friends!  I hope you had a wonderful three-day Labor Day Weekend! We were able to head out of town for the weekend, and have a *few* pics to share if you’re interested in that kind of thing… Friday afternoon, we picked the kids up from school and wanted to do something a little different!  We headed straight to Michael’s and let the kids pick out some craft kits and supplies for a little Friday night crafting.  We hit up[Read more]

Five on Friday: Fall Break

Happy Friday, friends!  AND HAPPY FALL BREAK to my local friends!!  We have been SO READY for a nice break from school, and I swear, I feel like we just barely made it!  We have been working so hard, worn out, and just ready to not have a tight schedule to keep for the next week, at least!  And I thought that I hadn’t done a 5 on Friday link up in a lonnnnnnnng time, and decided to drop a[Read more]

Scenes from Thanksgiving

We have had a wonderful past week of Thanksgiving celebration- with both sides of family and now finally at home, just the five of us.  Here are some snapshots of the past few days giving thanks for the blessings in our life: We started out in Tybee Island, Georgia, for a few days spent with my family! My brother, his wife, and my niece, Sally Kate were there too, so the kids were able to get some fun cousin time[Read more]
