What I Wore

Hello Friends!  I didn’t have time to pull it together last week, but here I am back with What I Wore!  I’ve had some business, some ballfield, some school and some church, so it’s a little bit of everything this week. I had my first Social Media Marketing 101 Workshop for Magnolia Marketing Group and the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance on April 19th, and I wore this old reliable Michael Kors dress.  I love that the print is very forgiving and[Read more]

(Short) Weekend Recap + Weekly Meal Plan

Hello, Friends!  Last week was a killer, and this week isn’t going to be much easier.  I’m so glad that business is keeping me super busy, but on top of Easter, Teacher Appreciation Week 1 and now week 2, full weekend after full weekend, after full weekend, I am worn out!  So forgive me for short and sweet posts, but I just cannot cram everything into the 24 hours a day we are given right now! We had a fun[Read more]

DIY Triple-Tassel Earrings

This week has been a beast (does anyone else feel like with Easter being late this year that it has just made this month crazy???), and I wasn’t able to get my WIW post up today!  I’ll have anther big one next Wednesday, but at least wanted to share this fun and super easy DIY for these adorable Triple Tassel Earrings today! I actually mashed two different tutorials to make these- my tassel DIY from a few weeks back, and this great post from the[Read more]

Weekend Recap + Weekly Meal Plan

Hi, Friends!  I hope you were able to have some fun, active time and some down time like we did.  We had a beautiful Saturday, full of soccer, baseball, and sunshine, and a lazy, rainy Sunday, which was perfect for watching movies, doing laundry, and baking bread!  Here’s a little look at our weekend. Scott was out of town Friday night and back late Saturday, so the kids and I were on our own for two soccer games and a baseball game![Read more]

Cold Shoulder Maxi Dress + 10 Dresses Under $50

Dresses are my jam for the spring and summertime, and there are so many cute ones out this season!  From a long sleeve mermaid dress when it is still a little chilly, to an embroidered peasant style, to even a lightweight denim maxi dress for a weekend trip!  I like short dresses just fine, but love that we’re seeing more of these midi and maxi lengths again this spring and summer too. So you know I love a good list and[Read more]

What I Wore (A Day Late)

I have been swamped with work for my first Magnolia Marketing Group Social Media Marketing 101 Workshop, and wasn’t able to get my WIW post up yesterday.  So here I am, a day late, posting what I’ve been wearing the past two weeks! I pulled out my long sleeves for a few days when we got a bit of a cold snap two weeks ago.  I have actually had these silver brogues for a few years, and have never worn[Read more]

Easter 2017 + Weekly Meal Plan

What a beautiful Easter weekend we had!  Not only was it literally beautiful- sunny skies and 78 degrees, but we were able to serve the community, spend time together as a family, worship in our amazing church, witness an inspiring Easter sermon, eat a delicious Easter dinner (if I do say so myself :)), enjoy an afternoon at the park, and even ice cream sundaes (or Easter Sundaes…get it?!).  A beautiful slice of life all in one weekend. We got[Read more]

Eating Our Way Through Savannah

Last Sunday, Scott and I were able to take a little trip away to Savannah, just the two of us!  Scott visits Savannah several times a year for work, and once a year or so, I get the opportunity to tag along.  Savannah is one of our very favorite cities, and we had a really wonderful trip.  AS I was looking back through my pictures, though, it seems like I tagged along just for the food, haha!  But, truth is,[Read more]

Easter Dinner Menu

We had a pretty big Easter last year, but this year we are keeping it simple just the five of us!  We have a big Easter Egg Hunt and community day of service with our church on Saturday, church on Sunday morning (after seeing what the Easter Bunny brought, of course), and our traditional Easter dinner early Sunday afternoon. Since we had a bunch of family in town last year, we had a pretty big dinner spread.  But since it’s[Read more]
