Links I Love: Coronavirus Edition

Hello my friends! It’s been a crazy week. How are you feeling?

We’re home and the kids are home from school, and likely will be for the next two weeks (or more!) due to school being canceled with the Cornoavirus outbreak. We are staying home, other than for very necessary grocery trips (and limiting those- and only me or Scott going to the store by ourselves), since social distancing is really important to us right now. We’re trying to focus on the good (No early mornings! Lots of great family time!) instead of getting too caught up in the depressing and scary. Scott and I talked earlier about how we feel like we’re in a movie – right before the impending doom. I have a feeling that things are about to blow up in Georgia, which brings on feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, and fear, but we’re staying faithful knowing that this is ALL in God’s hands, and know that this too shall pass, and we’re all going to be okay.

I thought I’d share some excellent links from all around the internet today- links that might help you out this coming week! Some things for you and also some fun things for the kids since you’re likely indoors and playing teacher like I am this week! I am praying that you and your family are staying healthy and safe.

I also pray that you understand the responsibility that each of us have to deal with for a few weeks- the individual sacrifices we all need to accept for the greater good of our nation, our communities, our friends, families, and neighbors. More than anything, I pray that you and your family stay safe and healthy.

Through our virtual church service yesterday morning, my pastor said that this is the time for the church to step up and be selfless. I couldn’t agree more. Let us be the light of HIS GLORY, out in this world that is hurting. Stay safe and take care of one another.
