In My Shopping Cart: Midi Dresses + Meal Plan Monday

Happy Monday, my friends!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  We were able to get some good rest (hallelujah!!), do some long-needed things around the house, and just spend some time taking it easy as a family.

As I start seeing more and more fall fashion sneak peeks, I get more and more excited for the upcoming season.  Jeans, booties, cardigans, and allllll my favorites!  But, it will be sweltering for at least another month and a half, so in the meantime, I have to find some transition pieces.

You know I am a sucker for dresses, and have seen so many beautiful midi dresses this season.  And I am in LOVE with them!  They’re pretty with flats, heels, or wedges now, or with boots and a cardigan or jacket when it (finally) cools off.  Today I’m sharing a few that I have my eye on!

Midi Dress
Floral Print Midi Wrap Dress

I love this pretty floral that looks great with flat sandals, but all I totally see it with a pair of black boots and a black leather jacket!

Short Sleeve Button Front Midi Dress

I love the casual feel of this button-up dress and the perfect olive green color for fall.

Ruffle Trim Tie Belt Midi Dress

Obsessed with the color, the modest ruffle, the length.  This might be me in dress form.

A Line Trapeze Midi Dress

My go-to dress is this a-line swing style.  So cute on it’s own with a pretty necklace and booties, or with a jacket, scarf, kimono, cardigan, or another type of layer.  Perfectly versatile!

Black Eyelet Midi Dress

Wear it now with sandals, wear it later with tights and a cardigan.  This dress would be so pretty for church, weddings, or any reason to get dressed up!

We are back to meal planning (as of last week) and dinner is easier already.  I was chatting meal planning over the weekend with a friend of mine, and she mentioned that she’s going to try out emeals.  I used emeals years ago- it’s a meal planning service that gives you meal ideas and then creates a shopping list for you.  Well NOW, emeals has an app and is integrated with instacart and allows you to choose a meal plan, select the meals you like, it creates a shopping list for you, and then imports it to instacart for you to then shop online and have your groceries delivered!  It gives you more flexibility than the meal delivery services but still makes meal planning easy.  It’s worth a shot if you’re interested in trying it!  So here’s what we’re planning on eating this week:

Hope you have a great start to your week!
