Seven years ago today, we were blessed with our sweet little six-pound Grayson Caroline. She is a free-spirit, the sweetest little soul, a wild card, a nurturer and lover, a natural caregiver, a doting sister, and happiness embodied in child form. Over the last seven years, we’ve learned so much from our second born, and I thought I’d just share some of the highlights today. Happy Birthday, my girl, you have filled our lives with sunshine and shopkins and we have adored every moment with you!
Things we have learned from Grayson:
Dance like no one’s watching. And even if everyone is watching, just keep dancing.
You can get away with a lot of mischief if you just keep quiet.
People grow and change and develop in their own time, at their own pace.
Don’t be afraid to try new things!
Sometimes people are quiet because they’d rather observe first, then speak.
Take advantage of car rides for quick naps.
If you’re a peacemaker, you’ll always have a friend.
Always pack a snack.
The middle child WILL NOT be ignored!
I also took a video of Little Miss Birthday Girl this morning, so you can learn a bit more about her too! And listen for her wise words of wisdom at the end too…
Oh Gracie, we love you SO MUCH and hope you have such a wonderful 7th birthday!!
