Links I Love

Happy Friday!  We are headed to South Carolina this weekend for a Luton Family Reunion on Saturday, and then I plan to catch up on laundry on Sunday, and maybe even sneak a nap in!  What about you?  Big plans?

I love finding fun links around the web to check out and share!  If you have a few moments in the carpool line or as you’re scrolling through your phone watching tv tonight, here are a few recent favorites:

“The Oregon Trail Generation” This is SO ME!!!  And take the quiz here too to see if you’re a real “Xennial.”

A great list of quick, easy, and CHEAP dinners.

Have you been watching The Crown (seriously, one of the BEST shows on tv)? These side by side comparisons of the real royals vs. the actors that play them is pretty cool (especially The Duke of Windsor!  Dead-ringer!)

Great ideas for making dinnertime less insane— whether you like to cook or not.

An Empowering Way to Respond to Hurtful People.  Great perspective.

If you’re a movie nerd and a foodie, you’ll probably get a kick out of these recipe tutorials (and this one too!).

I mean, is Chris Stapleton (and his wife!) incredibly talented or what?!  Plus, the song is pretty amazing, lol.

I got a waffle iron for Christmas and have already made a few batches of yummy homemade waffles.  But I am most excited about trying it out on all these non-waffle recipes (already tried the cinnamon rolls and the kids gave them six thumbs up)!!

I just placed my first order with Grove Collaborative a few days ago, and with my new registration, am receiving a Mrs. Meyers cleaning kit for free (a $35 value)!  The offer is still available, and I’ll share all about it when it comes in the mail in a few days!

Did you know that dogs are capable of understanding up to 250 words and gestures?  The average dog is as intelligent as a 2-year-old child! For this and 124 other amazing facts, check out this awesome list of trivia-worthy facts.

Have a wonderful weekend!
