I am finally getting to another What I Wore post! I am thrilled that we’re in that lovely transition from late summer to early fall- where I don’t feel like my skin is melting into the denim when I wear jeans, and I can even manage a sweatshirt in the mornings! Fall is my favorite (#basic), and here’s what I’ve been wearing this week!
I can’t resist a striped dress. I love the ruffle sleeve detail on this one, and how easily it can transition into fall! Sub in more neutral jewelry and some booties or wedge heels, and I’m ready for fall. Last week I wore it with my gold platforms and colorful tassels!
I made this blouse at the beginning of spring and wasn’t able to wear it but maybe once before it got too hot. But it’s perfect for right now!
I don’t have a lot of jewel-toned clothes (lots of gray, ivory, and black for the fall!), but after getting this dress last week, I’m convinced that I need more! It is the most gorgeous eggplant, and I love the sheer swiss-dot overlay, and the babydoll silhouette. It will be equally as wearable with black tights and boots when it gets cooler as it was last week with bare legs and nude sandals.
I have been doing a little pattern testing lately, and this super cute striped swing top is one of the fruits of my labor! The pattern hasn’t been released quite yet, so more details soon to come!
And last but not least, my hurricane outfit! I actually had to go out for a meeting on Monday, while everyone else in their right mind was hunkered down at home. But I put on my boots and my trusty camo jacket and was there and back in about 2 1/2 hours. And then I stayed in this tunic and leggings the next two days because they were just that comfy, ha!
Since I’m a day late, the What I Wore Wednesday Link-Up is closed, but check out the Pleated Poppy and see all the awesome outfit ideas and inspiration!
