I have done a pretty bad job of taking photos of my outfits over the course of the last few weeks! But I have a few for you today, and will try to do better for next week. So here are a few things I’ve been wearing lately:
Embroidery is my jam, and I can’t wait to continue the trend into fall. Also, I wore this dress/tunic on Mother’s Day with a ruffled skirt extender, but I also love how it looks as a tunic over jeans! Throw a jacket on with a pair of booties, and I’ll have a perfect fall outfit. And I just cannot quit these $4 WalMart tassel earrings!! I’m also gonna need WalMart to make them in neutrals for fall. So get on it, WalMart! I promise I’ll buy them!
I am still totally on the off the shoulder train! One of my favorite summer dresses for our anniversary date night! This blue knit is so comfortable and stays in place off my shoulders so well.
I bought this dress several years ago, but I still wear it every single summer because I love the colors, the style, and it is such a comfy maxi dress that I can wear with flip flops or wedges! I wore it to church a few weeks ago and need to pull it out more often.
Last week I attended an Executive Round Table event that Scott was facilitating. The day before, though, I looked through my closet, and truly had nothing business appropriate to wear to the event! I headed up to my FAVE Tj Maxx just near my house and found this navy Vince Camuto shift with a pretty trumpet skirt that made it a little more interesting than a traditional shift dress. I also found some pretty burgundy accessories to add some interest and make it pretty for fall! I added a navy cardigan on top and was good to go! I felt confident in my professional ensemble, but know that I need to add some more professional pieces to my closet this fall and winter!
And last but not least, one of my FAVORITE new tops! I’ll give you one guess as to where it’s from!!! The day I wore it, I must have gotten three compliments on how pretty it was, and imagine the surprise when I told each person that I got it at WalMart!! Less than $12, and it’s my new favorite top. It will be on repeat all season long, no doubt.
That’s all I’ve got for this week! See previous What I Wore posts here!
