Hi Friends! I have a few outfits here today for my WIW post- outlining what I’ve been wearing lately. I slacked a bit since Ben and I were sick (thanks for all the sweet comments and messages, we are both feeling better today!), but I’m feeling better and ready to get out of my jammies today! On to the outfits–
I love this simple blue and white striped cold shoulder dress. It’s cute to just throw on with flip flops, or dress it up with some cute earrings and heels! As you will see this week, I am on a statement earring BINGE– I cannot get enough of them. And when they are ONLY $4, you don’t feel quite as bad for buying multiple pairs!!
I figured I needed to get another wear out of this white dress before Labor Day! I bought it for my birthday back in May, and pulled it out again for church. Added some hot pink fringe earrings because #StatementEarringSunday is totally a thing, right?
Day at the ballfield! Best deal ever on these super laid back cotton t shirts- they are loose and lightweight and thin but not too thin, oh, and FIVE DOLLARS at WalMart right now! RUN! Get every color they have in your size. You will not regret it, even if you just clean the house in them. But you won’t because they are totally cute and definitely cute enough to wear out of the house. Even if it’s just to watch your kids practice softball and baseball.
One of my FAVORITE dresses I have gotten all summer from Zaful! They are killing it right now with all their cute boho dresses for fall and cute ruffle and peplum tops (and if you’re in the market for an end-of-summer swimsuit, their sister site, RoseGal, has the cutest wrap bikini tops!!). But I was eyeing this lemon print dress for ages, and finally ordered it. It is so cute– a loose shift-style, with a cute ruffle at the bottom. It’s a smidge short for me, so I just wear my ruffle skirt extender underneath, but it’s perfect as far as I’m concerned!
Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am addicted to colorful statement earrings. But seriously, how much more fun is a plain, white ($5) t shirt with pretty colorful tassel earrings?? I rest my case.
Same as with a basic white t, a basic black dress is so much more fun with colorful earrings! I wore this to church on Sunday for my first day of teaching Sunday school (it was fun! The kids were so sweet!) and loved the color these beaded beauties brought to my outfit.
And lastly, this week, another one of my favorite new dresses! This red and white gingham tiered dress is great now, since it’s loose and forgiving, and a light-weight cotton, but will also transition really well into fall. I am also loving this short navy dress— I think navy is the perfect transitional color since it pairs beautifully with brights and whites for the summertime, but also grays and browns for the fall!
