Honey Vanilla Iced Coffee

It is no secret that I am a HUGE coffee drinker.  If it’s hot, there is a 99% chance it’s either black (coffee) or a latte (espresso), but if it’s iced, I like to branch out and try different flavor combinations.  So when I read about a Honey Vanilla Iced coffee the other day, I knew I had to try it out, and now it’s my favorite cold, mid-afternoon pick-me-up!

I’m sharing my “recipe” with you today!  I put “recipe” in quotations since it’s really not an exact recipe, in that I give you the ingredients and you kind of add them to your mug/glass/cup/vessel as you see fit.  Like it really sweet?  Add more honey!  Like a little coffee with your cream?  Add more milk.  It’s more of a guideline and an ingredient list than a real recipe, so you can adjust it to suit your own tastes.  Cause most people I know are pretty particular about how they like their coffee, me included!

Honey Vanilla Iced Coffee

Perfect mix of honey, vanilla, and cinnamon added to your cold brew (or just leftover coffee #momlife) for a tasty treat!  All measurements are approximations, so adjust as you see fit!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups black coffee
  • 1/4 cup milk I used almond milk, but you can use any dairy or non-dairy milk you prefer
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey can substitute agave, if you prefer
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • a couple shakes of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add ice to a cup, glass, or mug.  Add all ingredients and stir (or shake, if you have a lid) until all ingredients are combined.  Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

I love the honey, vanilla, and cinnamon combination for this recipe, but the spice combinations are endless!  Adding nutmeg and/or pumpkin pie spice would be delicious as we move into fall! Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee, anyone?!
