So let’s lead off with some handmade goodness! I made this Rachel Dress from See Kate Sew, and instead of long bell sleeves, I wanted a short sleeved version of the dress. I have been wanting a short sleeved seersucker dress, and it’s hard to tell, but this beautiful seersucker is red, white, and blue striped. Perfect for the fourth!

This top and these shorts have gotten a lot of action this summer because they are such great pieces and easy to wear! Doesn’t hurt that I made them both to fit me exactly. 🙂 That’s one of the greatest things about making your own clothes. I don’t easily find store-bought shorts that fit me well, but I sure can make them!
I got this dress last year, and it is still one of my faves. I can’t resist pretty embroidery!
Y’all. This ROMPER (yes, I said romper) may be my new favorite thing ever. I went out looking for a dress the other day, but this is what I came home with. It’s comfortable (OMG SO COMFORTABLE), cool to wear with flat sandals or heels, and it’s something a little different!! It also comes in olive green (which I was THISCLOSE to getting instead), but I loved the plum. I also got a lace bandeau to wear with it since it’s pretty low cut in the front and the sides, and we don’t need anything appearing where it’s not supposed to! I’m already planning to wear this in the car on our trip away this weekend (with flats) because it really is that soft and comfy. I wore this out on mine and Scott’s dinner date last Saturday night, and got several compliments!
All these adorable pom poms deserve their own post! I had been wanting some pom-pom sandals for so long, and when I saw these at Peachy Keen in Monroe and needed them. Didn’t hurt that they were only $20! And the earrings were a must-have too.
I have a running list of things I want to sew for myself, and “off the shoulder black and white gingham dress” has been on that list for ages. I finally found some fabric and whipped one up the other night. And no surprise, I love it! I wore it with lace up sandals the other day, but think it would be just as cute with flip flops!
I made this dress last year with the Washi Dress pattern, one of my all-time faves. Perfect to throw on during the summer before you get a chance to take a shower and need to take the kids to Vacation Bible School (not that I would know :)).

I have had this orange striped maxi dress for years and years and years, and I still wear it every single summer. I’m pretty sure I have a picture out there somewhere of me wearing it whil pregnant with Bennett! But it’s such a losse, comfy, forgiving tiered dress, and I still just love it. Another good dress to throw on to make dressing easy in the morning.

I have a thing for pom-poms. And white dresses. Which is why this one is so amazing!!! Though, seriously, how cute is this white ruffle dress with multi-colored poms? Wearing it with my pom pom sandals may be overkill, but some nude wedges would be perfect with it!
I also love this white cold shoulder dress in the popular midi length. I love the crochet detail and love the semi-boho, semi-ladylike vibe. There are just TOO MANY CUTE DRESSES out this season and I love sharing my favorites!
