Hello Friends! I have a whole entire week’s worth of outfits for you today…I didn’t miss one day! Here’s what I wore last week:
I am really into statement jewelry this season! I am always all about accessories, but I love the colorful necklaces and earrings (as I’ve mentioned before) for spring. I saw this necklace on a friend of mine and asked her where she got it because it was so unique and so different! And of all places, she said Ebay! And you will probably pass out when I tell you it was UNDER $5- SHIPPING INCLUDED!!! And when it finally arrived (it does ship from China), I was obsessed! I love jewelry that can take an ordinary, simple outfit, and make it stand out!
We got hit with a bit of a cold snap last week, so I had to get out some more long sleeves! And honestly, I didn’t mind much, since jeans and long sleeve weather is actually my favorite.
Another rainy and chilly day, so another long sleeve outfit. And can we just all look at this second picture together? Can you even believe how tall Ben is getting??!! Such a boy now, and not a baby. He is such a joy!!
Soccer outfit! It was still chilly on Saturday morning when Brantley had a game, so I layered up and was very comfortable.
Saturday night at the Braves game I traded my casual handmade gingham blouse for an off the shoulder handmade gingham blouse (I told you I have a thing for gingham!)! I actually made this top from one of Scott’s old work shirts that didn’t fit anymore, and I seriously love it. I even got several compliments on it at the game. And I wore my handmade red tassel earrings too, to make sure I was in team colors!
We popped up to Blue Ridge on Sunday for my dad’s birthday (more details here), and I wore this pretty cream blouse with lace insets and my favorite lace up sandals. These have a bit of a heel but are honestly even more comfortable than flats. HONEST.
My Monday outfits are usually pretty basic, but I do love the fringe and aztec detail on this otherwise simple white t shirt.
And last but not least, I had a hundred errands to run yesterday, and I don’t know about you, but when I have a lot to do, I like to get a little more dressed up than usual, and it makes me even that much more productive! So I put on this floral cold-shoulder tunic that I had been waiting to wear, and I got SO MANY compliments as I was out and about in town! So not only was I more productive but also got a little boost of confidence!
And that’s it for this week! I am linking up over at The Pleated Poppy, so hop over there and check out all the great outfit ideas and inspiration!
