Hi Friends! Spring has finally peeked it’s head around the corner, and we’ve had a lovely week of mid-70’s (though we’re supposed to have really bad storms today). So I have a couple springy outfits to share today for my What I Wore post.
I shared this dress last week in my Spring Handmade Closet post, and wore it last Wednesday. It is perfect for this time of year- long sleeves, light weight cotton, short and swingy. The floral print also made me feel super girly and feminine, which is always a plus in my book. 🙂
I wore this tunic dress out to lunch last week with one of my sweet friends. I wore it through the fall and winter with leggings and jeans, but am stretching it through spring with this super-versatile ruffle extender. I love pieces like that that can change a tunic into a dress, and allows for me to wear a piece longer throughout the year!
This off the shoulder top was in my Spring Handmade Closet post last wee too, and I got the opportunity to wear it over the weekend! Scott and I were out and about all day Saturday (more about that here), and it was the perfect spring top to wear with jeans and my new favorite lace-up sandals. And by the way, the sandals were totally comfortable through a day of tons of walking. Great option for moms who want a cute sandal with a heel, but still need stability and comfort.
I wore this retro floral midi dress to church on Sunday (how much easier is it to get ready on a Sunday morning when you only have yourself to dress?!). I LOVE the style of it- the beautiful floral print, the shirring at the neckline (it can be worn off the shoulder too!), and I told Scott, I felt like I was a 50’s era senorita wearing it. I felt very much like a girl in it, and I loved it. I definitely plan on wearing this all summer long.
I got dressed on Monday before I knew it was supposed to rain all day. :/ So I wore this for a while, and then once I knew we were home for the rest of the day, I changed back into jammies!
And last but not least, we had a beautiful day yesterday- 75 and sunny- so I wore this when I took the kids out to pick strawberries! It was warm, but not too warm for this lightweight chambray lace-up top. Pair it with some me-made shorts from last year, and we were good to go!
And that’s it for today! AS always, I’ll be linking up over at The Pleated Poppy. Pop over and check out all the awesome inspiration and outfit ideas!
