We had a pretty big Easter last year, but this year we are keeping it simple just the five of us! We have a big Easter Egg Hunt and community day of service with our church on Saturday, church on Sunday morning (after seeing what the Easter Bunny brought, of course), and our traditional Easter dinner early Sunday afternoon.
Since we had a bunch of family in town last year, we had a pretty big dinner spread. But since it’s just us this year, the menu is a bit smaller, but still including all our Easter favorites! Here’s what we’ll be eating this year:
Ham- Alton Brown’s City Ham recipe is my favorite
Macaroni & Cheese- I have searched high and low trying mac & cheese recipes, and
Patti LaBelle’s recipe is the best I’ve found
Potato Salad- I make it with Scott’s grandmother’s recipe since that’s his favorite 🙂
What are you doing for Easter? Do you get together with family? Make a big meal? Keep it quiet and simple at home? And what are your favorite dishes? I love to hear other families’ traditions!
**And PS- I’ll be back next week with two weeks worth of outfits for my WIW post. I just couldn’t get it together to post it yesterday!**
