So, I have been trying to be better (again) about taking photos of my outfits each day, so I am back today with WIWW! Here’s what I wore this past week:
My favorite dress that I have made for myself, hands down! The pattern I used was the Washi Dress by Rae Hoekstra, and I already have another one cut out and ready to sew, and plans for several more. The dress fit perfectly (thanks to a well-designed pattern), and was easy to sew, even with a few new skills I picked up while making it! I can’t wait to wear this dress over and over.

I have been really into embroidery this summer, and loved the beautiful white embroidery on this charcoal gray dress. I wore it to church on Sunday with some simple studs and a charm bracelet and let the embroidery speak for itself!
Gray Embroidered Dress- Alfani from Macy’s
Nude Wedges- Old Navy
I actually made this top last summer, and pulled it out the other day to wear with some jeans and platforms to go to the store. These nude platforms are one of the oldest, if not the oldest items in my closet. My dad bought them for me when he took me to New York City when I turned 16!

Nude Platforms- Bongo from NYC
I don’t wear my glasses out often, but I did the other day with my super casual outfit of a loose, blousy gray knit top and white linen pants.
And back in April, after I got the Mommy and Me portraits done by Sydnea of Bit of Whimsy Photography, she sent my this beautiful photo pendant as a thank you gift! I nearly cried when I opened it in the mail, I loved it so much. I love how it’s kind of a brushed silver, almost nickel, and the glass in the pendant is tinted for a vintage, antique look. And I loved it with my simple outfit the other day.

And one more handmade top! This is another Ruby, like several of the other ones I made last week. I love the look of the tunic, and LOVED this bit of colorful fabric that I had juuuuust enough of to make the top. And I love that there are so many options for bottoms with this one! But it was so hot the other day, and my aqua shorts matched perfectly.
